Stargate Universe Season 2

The first part of the finale of the first of Stargate Universe has me already wondering about what is coming next. Yep, I've become so found of Stargate Universe that I'm damned impatient to learn about Stargate Universe Season 2.

I didn't expect Stargate Universe to become that good, I remember thinking that it was a dark show with too much murky politics and that it wasn't respectful of the spirit of the Stargate franchise. But after a few episodes I had a better understanding of SGU, that the spirit of fraternity, responsibility and adventure was slowly building up. And it does make sense that we weren't served with a full-geared Stargate-like team from the start: those people on board the spaceship Destiny had to learn to trust each others first. Dr. David Rush, Colonel Everett Young, Camile Wray, Eli Wallace and the others aren't a family yet, but they're definitely becoming a team: they work together not just for their own survival, but for the protection of the whole crew.

I don't know what's going to happen in the second part of Incursion but I can tell you that it will be a cliffhanger episode: things will only get wrapped in the first episode of Season 2 of Stargate Universe. Syfy announced that, like the first season, the second season of Stargate Universe will consist of 20 episodes. I guess there's gonna a break before Stargate Universe Season 2 airs again in Fall 2010. But in between we'll learn as much as we can about the next season of Stargate Universe.

Anyway, can't wait to watch Stargate Universe Season 2!
